Opinions are like the fortunes in fortune cookie

Annette Marie Hyder

is like reading the fortune you get in a cookie —
in that the perception of the truth of the fortune/opinion
is only equal to its appeal.

That piece of paper doesn't get put up on the refrigerator
unless you like it.
