Sunny morning

That big beautiful sun
is a hot air balloon
rising over the horizon
and lifting everything up with it
because the world is attached
as its basket
with me in it
along for the ride.


The universe is a sky filled with such hot air balloons. Or, to paraphrase Carl Sagan, 'A morning filled with 400 billion suns hot air balloons'.
